Way Behind

Hello all. I am so behind with everything!! I'm sure you all know that feeling! It's not like any of us have it simple these days! Theres always something to keep us busy!
I thought I would jump on here quickly and show my DT cards for the last few weeks! So here goes. I hope you like!
First of all my Polkadoodles cards! I love love love the papers Nikky designs! They are so lush! For these cards I used the Candy Doodles and Sugar Plum Daisy CD Roms. Also some Marianne Design Creatables.

Next are my cards for Emergency Crafters. I used for this card, my new stamp from HobbyArt.

Plain and simple card using just Marianne Designs.

I used a digi from Tiddlyinks for this card I love their images!. Coloured of course with Pro Markers.

Now for my Glitter Geek cards.
This was my very first attempt at using scene stamps from HobbyArt. I love hobbyart stamps but my imagination isnt very strong, so I googled to see how other people had laid out there stamps. I then could think of how I wanted to do mine. Then I coloured it all with Pro Markers. I am very happy with this card!!

House mouse from Joanna Sheen.

Hope you like! Thank you for stopping by and any comments :) xx

Slacking

I know I am slacking with blogging at the moment! I am slacking with everything :( work has been busy and the travelling to where I am at the moment is draining me, so I haven't managed much crafting at all!
But hopefully things will get back to normal soon.
I thought I would pop on with some DT cards to show you all what I have managed. Hope you like them.

First is the lovely Polkadoodles. The theme this week is stash box stamp and to have a bird or animal on the card. I used the digi from Tiddlyinks and the gorgeous backing papers from the Pretty Sweet CD Rom. This theme launched today so hop on over to Polkadoodles and join in!!

Next are my cards for Emergency Crafters. The launch theme was Red Blue or both, and the Sponsor was the Lovely Polkadoodles! So I used the digi from the Pretty Tough CD Rom and the papers from the Not for Girls CD Rom.

The next card is this weeks theme, which is Glitter it! Our sponsor this week is ClassyCrafts, so go have a look at their lovely site! The digi image is from the Greeting Farm. The backing paper is Basic grey, backed with c&c glitter card. The red glitter on the flowers is Cosmic Shimmer and for the wings and the detail on the doily I used Hunkydory Angel Whispers (think its my all time fave glitter). All my images were coloured with Pro Markers and Flexi Markers.

Next is for the Glitter Geeks and last weeks theme was Spring. Sponsored by Bugaboo. Ive got a thing at the moment as you can probably tell with cutting round my images. I wanted to make it look like this little girl was sitting on a wall or something. The papers are by Echo Park backed with Hunkydory rainbow miri card.

The next card took me about 2 weeks over all to do bit by bit as was so tired! Made it for the lovely Jax.
The digi is again from Tiddlyinks and the backing papers are basic grey. I took a c&c doily and spritzed it with inks as Jax loves purple!

Thank you for stopping by and any comments. I must get my act together and get crafting! See you soon.

Brand New

Welcome to my brand new blog! I felt I needed to have a fresh start with it all.
I will be showing my DT cards but first take a look at this......

Make sure you check out the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog. We are having a blog hop over there on the 30th March! There is some yummy candy up for grabs!

Now for my DT cards.
First are Polkadoodles, which were made using the new Candy Doodles CD Rom.

The next two are for Glitter Geeks Boys and Girls challenge.

A friend of mine has just started a new job, for one of her presents I wanted to do something with the Tudors on. She loves the programme and the history and has gotten me hooked too. This was my second attempt at a candle. I printed the image (taken from google) on to tissue paper and then heated with a heat tool.

I finally gave in and bought the Encaustic Wax kit from c&c. This was my first attempt......
It doesn't look like anything specific, but when you do look at it you can see shapes. What I love about the top bit is the way the colours have blended in the waves.

Here are a few more........
I love this one, the colours are stunning and it almost looks like an under water cave!

This one I am quite proud of, kind of looks like a sky with the sun shining down.

I thought this would be quite daunting when I first got it, but its fun to do and the colours and shapes are beautiful even if they do not look like anything. I think thats part of the fun, they can be anything.
I shall practice more soon! :)

Here are a couple of cards with my new Tiddlyinks digis.

I hope you like! Thanks for stopping by x
